Winter walks on the wild beaches of Aberdovey are our favourite way to blow out the cobwebs. The pretty coastal town with its pastel-coloured houses lining the front usually shuts down for winter, but the sandy beach stretches for miles from Aberdovey to Tywyn and at this time of year you pretty much get the place to yourself. We love the way the sky and sea merge into iris blue with a thin line breaking the divide, the sand whips up around you and the sea grass in the dunes adds up to a trio of favourite colours that provide year round inspiration for our products. In summer months the beaches are full whatever the weather: windbreakers sag in the wind, children jump in and out of the sea braving the cold and families huddle together in a typically British way eating sandy sandwiches with a determination to not let a cloudy day ruin their summer! When the sun shines the high street comes ablaze with colour and the sea twinkles in that reassuring way that tells you all is well with the world.
